How To Find Out If You Are A Reincarnation

Posted by Julie Sommerville on July 28, 2010

Many people have the sneaking suspicion that they have lived before. This is known as reincarnation and is a major principle of several religions. It entails the soul leaving a body when the body dies. The soul then comes back, either immediately or at a later time in the body of a baby to live again. This can happen dozens of times, though there is no definite proof it can happen at all–except for people’s gut feelings about it.

Flashbacks are the usual reason for people thinking this. Sometimes people can have memories that they cannot explain–know things they know they have not learned during this life. Some are very tied to certain periods of history, want to wear the clothes and listen to the music of that time. For some, it borders on obsession and they cannot explain it. These are all common symptoms.

If it does, then you should visit some web sites. They can help you and lead you to discover your true self. It has many tips to figure out why you have the preferences and affinities you do. Some of these tools and resources it will lead you to are therapy and hypnosis. Some times people who have extremely strong ties can be able to remember things just through personal meditation.

What Does IQ Test Measure?

Posted by Joseph Celbert on July 26, 2010

Just about the most significant criteria in making a diagnosis to an individual as his education stopped is the IQ quiz or test. The chief objective of these tests is to gauge an individual’s cognitive domain or intelligence, which theoretically indicates his potential. However, controversies, as to the origin of these tests and whether or not these really measure a person’s potential, still exist.

During 1904 in France, the method of intelligence testing started after the psychologist named Alfred Binet was duly tasked by the French government to search for a system of differentiating children who were normal and those who were inferior with respect to their cognitive domain. The goal of this was to place those intellectually inferior children into academic institutions where they would be given special individual attention. In this manner, the possible interference these children may cause in the learning of the intellectually normal children could be accordingly prevented.

These findings had led to the growth of the Binet Scale, which is also recognized as the Simon-Binet Scale in acknowledgment of the assistance of Theophile Simon in the improvement of the said scale. This scale signified a ground-breaking method of evaluating the mental capability of the individual. Nonetheless, Binet warned himself against the wrongly usage of the scale or misapprehension of its implications. As maintained by Binet, the scale was deliberately designed purposely to operate as a guide of identifying children who truly needed special education.

Benefits Of Sending A Child To An Independent School

Posted by Adriana Noton on July 25, 2010

In recent years, more parents have become concerned that their children are not receiving a quality education in public schools. The high rate of teen drop outs, an increasing rate of school bullying, budget cutbacks, and overcrowded classrooms, has resulted in many parents seeking an alternative to the public education system. One educational alternative that is now becoming a popular choice for parents seeking a better education for their children is Independent Schools.

Sometimes referred to as a private school, an independent school is a school that is not run by the government. That is, it is not dependent on funding from tax payers. Funding can come from a variety of sources such as: individual monetary donations, charitable contributions, tuition fees, corporate donations, and special endowments. Sometimes there can be government funding such as in the form of funding grants. It is governed by a board of directors.

Choosing the right education for their child is the most important contribution parents will make to their future. Parents who are considering sending their children to a school should learn about the following benefits that these schools have to offer:

How To Save On Company Electric Bill

Posted by William Poulos on July 24, 2010

In today’s economic world, with a global recession affecting most nations, it’s important to cut down on costs wherever possible. This is especially true for large corporations, where the imperative is to try to save money, preserve profit and keep job losses at a minimum. One of the most common ways to cut expenses is to try and reduce the company electric bill where they can.

There are several ways to save on electricity. The most common one is to make sure the office lights are turned off when they’re not needed. The light bulbs can also be changed to low-energy models or compact fluorescent or LED bulbs. Air conditioning and heating shouldn’t be used excessively and should be maintained and serviced regularly.

Programmable thermostats should be used in office buildings and access should only be given to certain people. Getting an energy audit may also help and asking the electric company itself on how to cut down on electricity is a good idea.

When a computer isn’t being used it should be turned off or placed in standby or hibernation mode. Doors and windows should be checked for cracks and leaks as this can let in both hot and cold air depending on the season. Cell phone chargers and microwave ovens and other electrical consuming devices should be unplugged or placed on bypass as well when they’re not in use.

Important Parts Of Energy Efficiency

Posted by William Poulos on July 24, 2010

Energy Efficiency in the home is very important as you do not want to be paying for heat or cooling that is simply escaping out of your home or business and ultimately heating or cooling the neighborhood. Basically you always want to try your best to use less energy for the same amount of results you are currently accustomed to. One way to achieve this is by using the proper type and amount of insulation. Another example of this type of efficiency is using natural light instead of light bulbs to brighten the room.

Many new buildings are being constructed to be energy efficient and older buildings can be inspected to determine what can be done to make your home or business more efficient. Being energy efficient is the number one solution for stopping and reversing global warming. Of course using renewable energy sources instead of burning fossil fuels is the other solution.

Reducing And Managing Energy Costs In Hospitals And Medical Centers

Posted by Robert Holdsworth on July 24, 2010

Hospitals and Medical Centers have many opportunities to significantly reduce and manage their energy costs while maintaining or even improving patient care and comfort.

Healthcare facilities are significant energy consumers, typically using an average of 28 kWh and 110 cubic feet of gas per square foot. HVAC (including cooling and space heating) represents about 62% of hospital energy use with lighting comprising 13% more. Focusing on these two areas with their combined 75% of total energy usage is very useful for developing an energy efficiency plan.

However, knowing where to focus does not mean it is always clear exactly where to start. By taking a carefully planned “whole facility” approach, it is easier to feel confident that you are making the best, most financially and operationally prudent energy efficiency choices for your unique facility. In today’s industry there are proven and recommended engineering approaches and technologies available that can guarantee results. And by working with an experienced, energy services company or engineering firm, choosing the right options does not need to be complicated.

Secret Law Of Attraction Puts Success Within Reach

Posted by Leona Claives on July 21, 2010

The universe is full of forces and vibrations. Many of these have already been discovered by scientists. They are incredibly powerful forces that shape our physical lives for example gravity. There are however other forces which are responsible for creating reality. Now imagine how much you could achieve you were able to harness these natural forces for your own purposes. With the secret law of attraction, you can do just that.

The law of attraction is a way for you to draw on the energies of the universe. The world is full of invisible sources of energy. Just think about what happens if you throw a ball up in the air. There is the invisible force of gravity that pulls it back down to earth. If the force of gravity is that strong, just imagine the strength of the other forces of the universe and what they can do for you. If you can train your mind to harness these forces, the limit to what you can accomplish is endless.

You may have also heard the old adage: “If you dream it, you can achieve it.” Both of these techniques are completely legitimate, but they only touch the surface of the much larger concept of the universal law of attraction.

Easily Develop The Power Of Telepathy

Posted by Paul Fowles on July 20, 2010

Essentially, telepathy is the process of transferring your feelings, emotions, and even thoughts to another person using nothing apart from mind power.

The ability to communicate telepathically is something all humans possess to some degree, but unfortunately, they have lost the means by which to control it on a conscious level. We have all experienced telepathic activity subconsciously on occasions but just imagine being able to control that ability, and being able to use it to communicate with others.

Have you ever been walking down the road feeling as though you are on top of the world, only to bump into someone you know, and to discover they are feeling depressed and miserable? Within just a short space of time your own mood will have changed to be more in line with that person’s mood. Even so, there is still much skepticism regarding the use of mind power.

The reason for this being; it’s not the words themselves which are solely to blame, but it’s also the transfer of that person’s feelings and emotions, as they were received by your subconscious mind.
