Were You A Famous Person In Past Life?

Posted by Gillian Frith on September 6, 2010

No disrespect to Hinduism and Buddhism. These two religions hold reincarnation as one of their basic tenets. But, reincarnation just sounds practical. How much space would there be in an afterlife that included the hoards of people who passed away throughout time. If each person was reborn repeatedly in past life, that would explain the space issue.

But, who can say for sure until, well, until they pass away themselves. More people believe in this occurrence than disbelieve. There are more religions that believe in reincarnation. For non-spiritual people, it still seems a common answer to life’s mysterious happenings.

A deja vu experience is a fairly common experience. Walk in to a room and get a chill up and down your spine. It looks very familiar. It just feels as if you’ve been in the room before. Was this building here long enough for you to have visited it during a past life? Or, were you simply here as a small child too young to remember until now?

Karma Reincarnation Is It Truth Or Myth?

Posted by Jim McRoy on August 31, 2010

Hinduism posits that karma reincarnation is a law of God and nature. No act is without repercussions. A kind act will be returned with a good act. An evil one will bring only evil back on those who commit it. According to Hinduism, karma follows an individual from one life to the next. If your luck is all-bad, that indicates you did something bad earlier in life or in a past existence.

Those who believe that karma is a viable concept are encouraged to do only good in this life. Like Christianity, people are urged to be passive. Christians will fight for God but not for themselves. The Eastern religions accept whatever happens as karma and accept it, whether beneficial to them or not. A good example is the Hindu caste system in India and how the untouchables remain without status.

Karma is a do all, be all, answer for everything that happens in life. It encourages passivity rather than taking charge and trying to improve the life you live NOW.

Why follow such a negative attitude towards life? James Van Praagh considers himself a psychic who is connected to those who have died. We can see the unlikeliness of his ideas. However, there is no way to silence him since nothing can be proved.

How To Find Out If You Are A Reincarnation

Posted by Julie Sommerville on July 28, 2010

Many people have the sneaking suspicion that they have lived before. This is known as reincarnation and is a major principle of several religions. It entails the soul leaving a body when the body dies. The soul then comes back, either immediately or at a later time in the body of a baby to live again. This can happen dozens of times, though there is no definite proof it can happen at all–except for people’s gut feelings about it.

Flashbacks are the usual reason for people thinking this. Sometimes people can have memories that they cannot explain–know things they know they have not learned during this life. Some are very tied to certain periods of history, want to wear the clothes and listen to the music of that time. For some, it borders on obsession and they cannot explain it. These are all common symptoms.

If it does, then you should visit some web sites. They can help you and lead you to discover your true self. It has many tips to figure out why you have the preferences and affinities you do. Some of these tools and resources it will lead you to are therapy and hypnosis. Some times people who have extremely strong ties can be able to remember things just through personal meditation.

Reincarnation Lends Something To Explore

Posted by Leo Peole on June 1, 2010

Reincarnation lends something to think about when trying to understand the amount of influence one might have over their next life. The literal meaning of reincarnation is “to be made of flesh again”. The concept suggests that the flesh is left behind while the soul is recycled forward into a new existence. The new life experience requires the personality of the soul to reinvent itself.

Having some direction to facilitate the experience of a new life after death is humbling. Most people have had an experience that they wish they could change. At times the desire of wanting to go back in time creates an obstacle that stunts progression. The craft of ‘becoming’ is seen as a second chance for some. It offers an opportunity to learn from each other and to be changed by the lesson.

The roots of reincarnation are ancient and universal. The ideology serves as the foundation for a mixture of religious and spiritually based rituals. The birth of the philosophy originated with the African continents, Indian and European cultures. The theory of living onward is a shared belief system for a wide range of other civilizations as well.

Posted by Georgia Kirsten on March 4, 2010

In the world today, there are many more individuals who believe in reincarnation, than there are individuals who do not. For many it may be part of their religious beliefs, such as for Buddhists and Hindus, while for many others, it just makes sense to them or perhaps some may be simply curious. Whether they are searching for answers about that particular something that stands out in their minds that follows they all their lives or they are merely curious to find out, many individuals do their best to find out more concerning their past lives. There are various ways to discover the explanations, when you find yourself curious about past lives.

Journaling Your Experiences

One of the best ways to learn about your past lives is to begin a journal. You should write down the things you experience, even those experiences that may seem insignificant. While including the way you feel about any event, since our emotions are the strongest clues we have, that may relate to a past life. Journaling your experiences creates a written record that can aid you in piecing your clues together when using it later as a reference.
